Ming Tsai Bio

Ming Tsai is the James Beard Award-winning chef/owner of Blue Ginger in Wellesley, MA, television show host, and author of four cookbooks.  Three weeks a year, Clarke's amphitheatre/studio in our Milford showroom transforms into the bustling kitchen set for Ming's Emmy nominated national public television cooking show, Simply Ming.

Cameras roll, prep chefs work their magic on Wolf ranges and ovens, makeup artists dab powder on the next guest, and the host, Chef Ming Tsai, coolly orchestrates the filming of up to three programs per day!

Now in its ninth season, each episode of Simply Ming challenges Ming and his guest chefs to "Cook on the Fly" with surprise ingredients while finding inspiration from Ming's East-West pantry. Ming also kicks off each episode by highlighting techniques to help the home cook recreate dishes from the show or come up with their own variations.
