Milford, MA - Appliance distributor Clarke is opening The Clarke Culinary Center, a home chef school, within its Resource Center located here. The opening, which takes place this month, follows the introduction of a similar school in the company's South Norwalk, CT-based center this past fall.

"We have long offered cooking classes for customers who purchase Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances through one of our retail dealers," commented Tom Clarke, president and CEO of Clarke. "However, we have always been asked if we have cooking classes open to the public."

To meet increasing demand, the company has remodeled both showroom sites to accommodate its celebrity chef series, hosted by renowned local chefs. The series will be expanding to include wine tastings, flower arranging and other personal lifestyle classes, notes the company.
